Chris Spence

Author, Educator, Children's DJ, and Creative Arts Enthusiast—these are a few roles that define Chris Spence. Originally from Great Falls, a small town in South Carolina, Chris discovered his passion for expression through songwriting and poetry during his early years in elementary school and became a published poet by 8th grade. As he matured, so did his love for crafting literature tailored to young readers. His debut book, 'Daddy, What's That Sound?', stands as a heartfelt tribute to his sons Canon and Kaden, beautifully portraying the timeless bond between father and son.

Beyond his work as an author, Chris is also a recording artist with an educational children's album titled 'Circle Time With DJ Pre-K'. His dedication to 'EDUtainment' echoes throughout his career, as he consistently seeks innovative ways to educate children through music, literature, and movement.

In his spare time, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, Alyssa, and two sons- going on adventures that inspire many of his books.
