Adam Johnson Ph.D.

Adam Lloyd Johnson is the founder and president of Convincing Proof Ministries and a former campus missionary with Ratio Christi at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. After becoming a Christian in 1994 and facing a crisis of faith in his twenties, he turned to apologetics and ministry, equipping Christians and encouraging non-Christians to trust Christ. Adam has taught at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and Rhineland Theological Seminary in Germany, and earned his PhD in Theological Studies with an emphasis in Philosophy of Religion from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2020. A former Southern Baptist pastor (2009–2017), Adam has presented at major conferences worldwide and published in journals such as Philosophia Christi, Westminster Theological Journal, and Religions. Adam is editor and co-author of A Debate on God and Morality (Routledge, 2020), author of Divine Love Theory (Kregel Academic, 2023), and contributed a chapter to Theology and Technology (2020). He lives in Nebraska with his wife Kristin and their four children.
