Leonard Geddes of The LearnWell Projects has invested more than two decades conducting ethnographic observations on how students engage in academic work in college. His promising research has helped numerous higher education institutions surpass their most critical performance goals, including raising and maintaining high retention rates, accelerating and elevating graduation rates, and narrowing and diminishing equity gaps.
Holding a Master’s in Agency Counseling and a B.A. in Business Administration, Geddes merges these disciplines to help institutions create complementary learning environments. He is a frequent paid keynote speaker and contributor with organizations such as The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), the National Science Foundation (NSF), the International College Learning Center Association (ICLCA), the Kellogg Institute, and the Learning Specialist Association of Canada (LSAC). In addition, Geddes has led highly successful consulting projects with numerous colleges and universities.
