Amal El-Sayed

Amal El-Sayed is a PhD candidate at Ain Shams University, Egypt, where she teaches English poetry at the Faculty of Al-Alsun (Languages). When she is not teaching, she can be found devouring books, composing poems, or scribbling stories that stubbornly refuse to come to an end. Her poems and stories appear/are forthcoming in Wyldblood Magazine, Poetry Pacific, Poets Reading the News, and Writers Resist. Born in the brisk cold of Moscow, she now resides in the enveloping warmth of Cairo. She plans to retire to a land of magic, secrets, and wonder as soon as she stumbles upon it outside of her dreams.
