Dr. Sudev Sheth is Senior Lecturer in History at the Joseph H. Lauder Institute of Management & International Studies and in the Department of History at the University of Pennsylvania where he teaches across the School of Arts & Sciences and the Wharton School. He was previously on the faculty at Harvard Business School where he held the Harvard-Newcomen Fellowship in Business History. His research has been supported by the Social Science Research Council, the American Council of Learned Societies, and the American Institute of Indian Studies.
Dr. Sheth holds a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania, an MA in History from the Jawaharlal Nehru University, and a BA in South & Southeast Asian Studies with a focus on music from the University of California, Berkeley. He lives in Philadelphia with his wife, their 3-year-old daughter, and their newborn son.
