Author Liz Liverman, with a passion for empowering young readers to navigate life's challenges, is the author of her debut children's book, Chocolate Chip & Cookie and the Scary Bug. This heartwarming and beautifully illustrated story introduces children to the power of mindfulness through the adventures of two lovable animal friends, Chocolate Chip the donkey, and Cookie the mini-pony.

Born with a hearing loss, Liz Liverman understands the importance of utilizing other senses to communicate effectively with the world around her. Throughout her life, Liz has been drawn to animals, finding a deep connection with horses. It is through this profound connection with her real-life animals, a donkey and pony pair, that the story about Chocolate Chip and Cookie was born.
