Emily L. Kendall is an omni-mom - step-mom, mom of three, dog mom married to an awesome man and life partner. Her oldest daughter was born at 29 weeks and two days and spent two months in the NICU. Her son was diagnosed at birth with Down syndrome and spent three weeks in the NICU. She got pregnant with an IUD two months shy of her 39th birthday - surprise! - and welcomed another daughter. She’s the author of “Let it Flow: A Journal to Support You on Your Breastfeeding Journey,” a journaling process she created based on her own ups and downs breastfeeding all three of her children. She also writes a Substack newsletter called “The Letdown” about breastfeeding and pumping, high-risk pregnancies, navigating the NICU and extended hospital stays, raising a kid with a disability, and her decade-long attempt to qualify for the Boston marathon.
