K Lusk Brooke

Founder of the Center for the Study of Success, K. Lusk Brooke developed innovative seminars at Harvard and MIT on Failure and Success. After earning a PhD at Harvard, with an invited post-doc at the Harvard Business School, Lusk Brooke joined the faculty of MIT as a distinguished Institute Lecturer. Building on that professional experience, K. Lusk Brooke launched a research and consulting organization with engagements in Asia, Europe, and the Americas.

What is success and how does it drive the future? K. Lusk Brooke began that exploration at the level of individual success, and then expanded the view to organizations. Following a broader inquiry, Lusk Brooke advanced to consulting and development on a regional level, working in international locations from Bangkok and Tokyo to London and Lima. Lusk Brooke has now brought the success perspective to global issues that will determine our collective future. Renewing the World: Water, and companion book Renewing the World: Casebook for Leadership in Water, examine one of the most important issues in climate change - WATER - with a view to opportunities for innovation and leadership.

Previous books include Mobilizing the Organization, nominated for the Financial Times Best Global Business Book, and Building the World, exploring how engineering, scientific, and technological success shaped the course of history. K. Lusk Brooke is also the author of a blog: Building the World featured on CNN.

In addition to awards and recognition from the Copernicus Society, Fulbright Foundation, Woodrow Wilson and Whiting Foundations, K. Lusk Brooke was named one of the Beautiful Minds of the Millennium.
