Carol Darley Dow is a fiction writer originally from Los Angeles, California. In an earlier life she owned and operated an advertising agency, writing and producing hundreds of television, radio, and print ads, as well as creating advertising campaigns for clients in every field. The ad agency transitioned into video production, producing longer form projects and documentaries. As producer, director and writer, Carol Darley Video was honored with six prestigious International Telly Awards. Exploring stories through relationships has been a passion for many of her creative projects, most often celebrating the enduring power of friendship.
Her favorite place to write is aboard a Virgin Atlantic flight winging it’s way between home in the Pacific Northwest and her best-loved city of Edinburgh, Scotland. The magnificent old world charm and scenic, historical landscapes were the perfect backdrop for her successful debut novel, Window Friends. A sequel is nearly completed and will once again transport readers to the romance and adventure of cobbled streets and lush Scottish surroundings.
Other than travel to Scotland, Carol’s interests include reading, painting, fly fishing, cooking and spending time with treasured family and friends. She lives in Washington state with her husband, and is the proud mama to amazing children and extraordinary grandchildren.
