Juana Garcia is a dreamer with a pen and a self-published poet. She is the author of another poetry book titled Starry Night, which was first printed in 2021 and became a local best-seller at National Book Store, the biggest bookstore chain in the Philippines. Rainy Days & Mondays is her latest book of poetry and prose. Her writing style is simple and wistful, often exploring the themes of love, heartbreak, self-exploration, and loneliness.
She comes from a small rural town in the Philippines, in a modest house surrounded by rice paddies and mountains. Presently, she’s based in the United Kingdom, trying to experience new things in a foreign land thousands of miles away from home. She loves old books, nature, and quaint cafes, and is a little allergic to the sun.
Juana Garcia writes in a language everybody can easily connect with and understand while capturing emotions and leaving a lasting impact like few contemporary indie poets can. She continues to attract more attention from her home country while starting to gain more readers from other parts of the world.
