Music has always been a part of my life. I grew up in my parents’ music school in Hong Kong, surrounded by teachers, students, and the everyday sound of people learning and playing.

I trained through the Royal Schools of Music, Trinity College London, Berklee College of Music, and New York University. Over the years, I’ve worked with Grammy‑winning artists and taken on different roles in music as a composer, performer, arranger, and producer. I try to bring this well‑rounded perspective into my teaching, blending creativity, technique, and practical musicianship in a way that feels engaging and accessible.

Along the way, I also began creating simplified exercises, theory sheets, mini‑games, and easy arrangements for learners who wanted to play the songs they loved before they were technically “ready.” Those early materials eventually grew into the beginner‑friendly books I publish today, with clean layouts, finger numbers, alphabet notes, and arrangements designed to help anyone sound good from day one.

I founded Anyone Can Play, a music studio dedicated to making learning accessible and enjoyable. What started as resources for a few students has now reached over 50,000 students worldwide, something that still feels surreal and incredibly motivating. AnyoneCanPlay dot net also offers free learning tools, including interactive music‑theory and note‑reading games. You can also find additional tutorials on anime, games and trending music tutorial on my YouTube channel, Anyone Can Play. Everything is designed to be approachable for beginners and enjoyable for anyone who wants to learn at their own pace. If you have a song request or just want to connect, you can leave a comment; I always check them.
