C.H. Theron is a trained lawyer. Multiple international moves proved that a legal career was difficult to maintain, and she rekindled her childhood passion for writing.
When she discovered the Chumash people of California, it sparked a desire to tell the story of the horrors that befell this highly evolved society during the Mission period of the late 1700’s and early 1800’s.
She is an avid reader and traveler, aspects that inform her craft. Cultural Heritage protection is a topic that she is keenly passionate about. Born and raised in South Africa, she lives in Los Angeles with her husband and their two boys.
The Tribes of Chelsea is her debut novel.
