S. S. Coulter

S.S. Coulter is a children's book author, joy coach, and host of the Let There Be Joy podcast, helping families bring more imagination, presence, and real-world connection into a tech-influenced world.

She is the author of The Fassa Tails — a seven-book children's series for ages 4–10 following Fassa, a rescue cat, as he discovers kindness, courage, empathy, and what it means to belong. Each book is paired with hands-on activity pages designed to pull kids off screens and back into creativity, character, and play. She also writes the God's Dad Jokes series: family-friendly Bible puns and Christian humor built to create laugh-out-loud moments families can share.

The series grew out of a personal moment: after becoming an instant mom to three kids, Coulter watched their imaginations stall in real time — and went looking for tools that could help. When she couldn't find what she needed, she built it herself.
