Dan Mento

Dan Mento is a retired Technology Education teacher with 31 years of experience. He holds a Master of Education from Cabrini College, a Master of Science from West Chester University, and a Bachelor of Science in Technology Education from California University of Pennsylvania. Beyond the classroom, Dan is an inventor and the author of a United States Utility Patent. He is an accomplished writer who combines a methodical yet creative approach to exploring historical puzzles and mysteries. As a passionate researcher, he often travels to historic sites to investigate the very enigmas he writes about. His published works include Beale's Treasure: A Freemason's Tale, Dighton Rock: The Secret of Sachuest Bay, Shugborough Inscription: Wordplay for the Lords and Ladies, and his latest book, Declaration of Independence Seven Freemason Iconographies. Notably, Beale's Treasure and Shugborough Inscription have been featured on the Ancient Origins website. When not writing or inventing, Dan enjoys spending time with his family and his Yorkie-Bichon mix, Coco.
