Richard J Appleton

I am Richard Appleton, a retired teacher with over 50 years experience. I live in the beautiful Yorkshire town of Whitby where the great explorer Captain Cook learned his nautical skills and where his ships were built.

Surrounded by History and a desire to use my teaching skills I set out to write these Historical adventures in an attempt to make past events which shape our lives to be visited and experienced through the eyes of my Time Travelling Twins, Grace and Richard.
