Hi there! I’m a recently retired neonatal (baby) nurse. I’m enjoying my retirement babysitting my 4 grandchildren, reading, knitting, and going out to a restaurant or movie now and then with my husband.

I wrote the short story Bill Durks How I See Him because he made an impact on me and the kind of person I have become with just one short meeting and I hope others, particularly kids, will learn as I did not to judge others by their appearance.
