Gerry Haines

As you can tell from the photo, Gerry is not a glamorous, fashionable young trail-blazer. He had to wait until retirement before he found the time to get serious about writing fiction. He also felt by then that he might have entertaining things to say about his life and times. "Psyche" starts in the 60s, which Gerry can remember because he was there, but it is a whole-of-life story. Not everything in it happened to him – it's a novel – but a lot of it did. He was never a Marxist revolutionary in the 70s, although he did know a few and he is currently writing about that. He is a funeral celebrant, and he is writing about that, too. He is addicted to music of many different kinds, and that seeps into his fiction. He has no illusions about making a fortune from fiction, but he does hope you enjoy his work.
