Steven Giacoppo

Steven Giacoppo is the President of MJN Technology Services, an IT and cybersecurity company in Wantagh, New York.

Steven Giacoppo has over 20 years of experience working in the IT field. Steven received his first computer, a Commodore 64, at the age of eight. Throughout his high school years, he discovered computer programming and read many books on this topic. Steven dedicated each afternoon after school to learning the components and complexities of computers. After high school, he received formal training in numerous programming languages and computer science. To this day, those programming skills have been crucial in the success of MJN Technology through automation, efficiencies, and standardization.

After attending school, Steven started working in a computer repair business in 2001. He quickly went from fixing computers at the shop to fully supporting small businesses' networks and servers within a few years. Steven self-learned enterprise-class phone systems, security CCTV, and alarm systems along the way. MJN Technology currently has a NY State Alarm/Security Installation License.

MJN Technology was initially formed to help businesses manage their technology. Since times have changed over the last decade and cybercrime is increasing at an alarming rate, MJN Technology has pivoted with a security-first mindset. MJN Technology is on the front lines of cyber defense, helping clients safeguard their reputation, money, and sensitive data.

Steven is an avid saltwater fisherman in his free time and loves spending time with his wife and three young boys. You will usually find him fishing, clamming, and crabbing with his family around the shores of Long Island on his days off.
