Lucy M. Johnson

Lucy M. Johnson, PhD had a full life before making her writing debut with The Adventures of Bella, a charming picture book illustrated by her grandson, Lucas (age 9, and edited by his brother, Liam (age 11). After retiring from a 20 year distinguished career in the US Air Force, Lucy began her second career as an Information Technology contractor where she continues to work today. She and her husband raised 3 children and now enjoy the 8 wonderful grandchildren they have been blessed with. Lucy has always loved reading, writing, learning, and children. Today, Lucy and her husband (also a distinguished retired US Air Force Veteran) own and operate on a fully operational cattle farm and AirBnB business in West Virginia. Lucy draws her inspiration for writing from real live adventures and experiences, many of which take place at Horseshoe Ridge Farms and AirBnB. She incorporated her two oldest grandchildren into her first book and hopes to continue incorporating them and her other grandchildren into her future writings.
