Sarah Schwartz (Zara) is a prolific writer who resides in New Mexico with her husband and their little dog, the inspiration for her blog.

She has been writing for more than twenty years, and she is always working on projects that give voices to the voiceless.

Her novels are a fusion of multiple genres, often exploring the relationship between storytelling and the human psyche within poetic or allegorical frameworks.

Outside of writing, she enjoys feeling the sun on her face especially with gardening or having a nice cup of coffee outside—when the mosquitos and other pesky bugs are not present. Her favorite pastime is soaking up the company of her husband and best friend while they both theorize zany business ideas or truths about the universe, and of course, playing with her little dog who is a rambunctious terrier with the energy of a thousand suns.

Her faith in Christ is paramount in her life and often influences the morality of her characters and themes of good vs. evil.

She greatly admires the many authors who have helped shape her voice. C.S. Lewis is by far her very favorite, but she frequently finds inspiration in more contemporary authors as well.
