About the Author

Liz van Santen grew up in Oxford and had a successful career in education. She is passionate about the magical power of creativity and is a keen acrobatic dancer and musician. Since her retirement, Liz enjoys writing, travelling, sailing, skiing, and spending time with her family.

Her debut novel, ‘The Unfinished Symphony of Love’, has been well received. ‘This is a powerful, haunting, and beautifully written novel.’ Amazon review.

Liz has since written ‘The Humble Pawn Duology’ comprising ‘The Humble Pawn’ and ‘ Queen in the Shadows.’ Both books are published by The Book Guild and can be read as stand-alone novels.
