Simone Carroll

Simone Carroll is the daughter of Christopher Carroll (her co-author/illustrator father). She assists him writing and illustrating children's books, including their debut children's book, "Winnie-the-Pooh and the Honey Jar Mishap." Her contributions to the storyline were inspired by evening readings with her family of Milne and Shepard's 1926 classic, "Winnie-the-Pooh." She uses a combination of tracing, sketching, and digital illustration software (Procreate and the Apple Pencil 2) in her books. Her most recent book is a children’s chapter book, “Seahorse Protectors: The Mystery of Trash Island,” written with Christopher Carroll. She loves books, hockey, monkey bars, riding her bike, science, piano, and art.
