Sven Lindberg

Sven Lindberg studied psychology at the University of Göttingen and completed his doctorate in natural sciences at the Faculty of Biology and Psychology. He was a research associate at the Leibniz Institute for Research and Information in Education and scientific director at the IDeA (Individual Development and Adaptive Education of Children at Risk) research center in Frankfurt am Main.

Since 2015, Sven Lindberg has been Professor of Psychology at Paderborn University, where he conducts interdisciplinary research in the fields of developmental psychology, learning and digitalization. He is also a start-up ambassador of the Faculty of Cultural Studies for the Excellence Start-up Center Ostwestfalen-Lippe (ESC.OWL), where he supports the transfer of scientific research into practice.

Prof. Dr. Sven Lindberg is the founder of the digital platform Fanciety and uses his enthusiasm for sport to activate communities. He is an active member of the advisory board of the educational initiative "In safe hands e.V." and the renowned scientific publisher Hogrefe (school tests division).
