Arnaud Delorme

Arnaud Delorme is a neuroscientist who has spent more than twenty years studying how the brain generates conscious experience. He is a research scientist at the University of California, San Diego, a professor at Paul Sabatier University in Toulouse, France, and a researcher at the Institute of Noetic Sciences.

His scientific work spans EEG signal processing, meditation, neurofeedback, and the neural correlates of consciousness. The questions that drive his research -- what is awareness, where does it come from, and can it be measured -- are the same questions that inspired his novel.

He lives in La Jolla, California, and is the author of Why Our Minds Wander. The Noetic Particle is his first novel.
