I have lived an interesting life that has involved me undertaking many different roles within my family, a daughter, a sister, a wife a mother, and a grandmother and a teacher and head teacher within the education community. From the age of four, I never wanted to be anything other than a primary teacher. So, despite the pressures from my grandmother and grandfather to follow the family tradition of medicine and join the family practice, I went to college and trained as a primary school teacher! These roles taught me a great deal about life and that sometimes, not every day was as pleasant as I wished it to be, although most were.

In 2014, inspired by the effects that colour and style have on people I trained as a Colour and Image Consultant with House of Colour and bought the Aberdeen/Aberdeenshire franchise. I love the depth and breadth of my work and the impact that this has on my clients. I have a client base of men, women and children who range from age 8 to over 80 years of age and I enjoy empowering them through colour and style, saving them time and money.
