Peter M Curzon

I was born in Nottingham and has lived most of his life here. I left school at sixteen to become a Commercial Apprentice with a large telecommunications company and worked as a Commercial Manager for over 40 years.

Having become an avid reader of books, when I decided to take early retirement a few years ago, one of the challenges I set myself was to prove that he could write stories. I joined a creative writing group, first at the Theatre Royal and then at the Nottingham Playhouse with the objective of trying to understand the basics of writing both poetry and short stories. I have written many poems and short stories that I have shared with other writing group members and family. Snotta-inga-ham's fictional historical stories about Nottingham is my first published book.
