John Di Donna

Brooklyn born John Di Donna, a.k.a. Johnny Thief, has worked in the visual arts for thirty five years, in the printing and publishing industries by day, wheat pasting punk rock flyers and promoting straightedge drug rehab benefit shows by night. Best known for his screen printed concert posters, his work has appeared in the Guitar Hero video games, Hard Rock Cafes globally, and the omnibus ‘Art of Modern Rock: The Poster Explosion.’ Since 2005, he’s owned and operated Seppuku Tattoo, has painted covers for industry magazines, and judged contests at tattoo conventions internationally.

His first foray into traditional publishing came when his short story “Igoriphoria” was included in the #1 Amazon best selling horror anthology ‘The Monsters We Forgot’ (Soteira Press, 2019). Followed by “Mad Mad Captain Ahab” for 'Demonic Classics: Once Upon a Debacle’ (Battle Goddess Productions, 2020), “Cannibal Confidential” for 'Jester of Hearts' (Terror Tract Publishing, 2020), "Divine Inspiration Escort Service" for Soulmate Syndrome, and "Kitsune Kaishakunin" for 'Murder On Her Mind', "Jenny Pumpkinseed" for 'Halloweenthology: Dîa De Muertos' and "Vanitas" for 'Masks of Sanity.'(Wicked Shadow Press, 2023), and "To Catch A Beast" for 'They Hunt By Night' (Camden Park Press, 2023.)
