Mark Weatherbe

Mark Weatherbe earned his BFA at California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, CA, graduating in 1982. He subsequently worked as a dinosaur sculptor, special effects man, and art director in the film industry before becoming an independent writer/director and second unit director in Los Angeles and London. He has written 30 screenplays and 3 novels. Mark was a quarter finalist in the Orb Media Group China-Hollywood Screenwriting Fellowship in 2017 and in the Emerging Screenwriter Horror competition in 2020. He and his wife split their time between London, California, and Provence.
