Jerri Lien

Jerri Lien grew up devouring books like they were late-night snacks. She eventually passed down the love of reading to her son, the real-life "Bradley Jay." Today, she is a wife, mom, aunt, educator, and missionary who believes every child is born for great adventure, both real and literary.

She is a big believer that a good book can teach kids about kindness and the love of Jesus in a gentle, fun way.

One sunrise, Jerri, her hero husband Scott, and their mischievous eighteen-pound Shih Tzu, Bixby, traded Washington’s evergreens for Arizona’s dreamy sunsets. These days, Bixby is busy enjoying late afternoon desert breezes and learning the hard way not to sniff the prickly pears! He is also the real-life inspiration behind Jerri’s adorable picture books.

Through Bixby and the Very Bad Idea (a sweet lesson on the Golden Rule) and Bixby and the Very Jolly Christmas (a heartwarming look at the true gifts of life), Jerri hopes to coax sleepy eyes toward the grandest of dreams.

Grab your copies, kick off your shoes, and join Bixby in a puppy-dog world where the main rules are simple: love Jesus, be kind, and love your peeps and pets!
