P (Peter) is a native of the vibrant North-East of England, born and raised in Stockton-on-Tees. From a young age, he found enjoyment in fantasy, horror, and post-apocalyptic worlds, which he explored through gaming and movies. Some of his favourite video games include Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid, and Parasite Eve.
During this time, his fascination with horror, gore, and the unique creatures depicted in the media he consumed inspired him to draw his own creature designs—many of which he dreamed of including in a movie should he ever get the chance to make one (a dream he still holds to this day).
Although he performed highly in most school subjects, English was a struggle. Right up until Year 5, he found spelling difficult and wrote slowly—being left-handed meant he often smudged the words he did manage to get on the page. Everything changed when one teacher took it upon herself to spend extra time with him, and within a single year he went on to achieve top marks in his GCSEs.
One of P’s greatest motivations as a writer is his passion for creating complex, morally grey characters that linger in the reader’s mind long after the final page. Born on 3rd August 1990, P’s narrative journey expanded further when he met V in 2018.
V (Victoria) was born and raised in North Yorkshire on 18th March 1994. Growing up surrounded by countryside and wild, open spaces, she spent her childhood adventuring outdoors—fueled by her imagination and her love of fantasy worlds such as The Lord of the Rings. She often ventured into the woods with her childhood dog, Bracken (occasionally alone, and sometimes in the dark), crafting stories and worlds in her mind.
Her favourite book of all time is Dragon Bound by Thea Harrison, which she has read more than fifty times—her well-worn copy proving its treasured status. Her childhood was filled with beautiful scenery, harsh weather, and the solitude of rural life, softened only by the presence of her four sisters, who frequently joined her on her adventures.
V wrote her first book at around thirteen, and is so embarrassed by it that she swears it will never see the light of day—her younger sister holds the only copy (and even P has never read it). Like P, she is an avid lover of animals; fittingly, it was P’s previous dog, Bouzer, who ultimately brought them together when they met online.
After V joined P, the two settled in his hometown of Stockton-on-Tees, where they now live with their beloved dog, Hugo (or H).
