Jake Kennington

Jake Kennington is an ordinary guy that writes children's books for his four kids. He has been married since 2010 and has two boys and two girls. Most of his life has been spent in the Central Valley of California but his family has recently relocated near Salt Lake City, Utah.

Jake is a husband, father, structural engineer, and now adds children's book author to the many hats he wears. His first book is called The Difficult Life of a Little Brown Hound. It is a heartwarming story about a hound dog that learns to embrace change and find happiness in unexpected places. Jake wrote this book when his first son was born back in 2014. He is so excited to share it and its message with others around the world. Although it's simple, it's also extremely important. Life is full of change and that is by design. We are meant to change as well. With this book he hopes to encourage his children to embrace that part of life and always look for the good.

Jake's next book is already in the works. He hopes to again teach his children what he thinks is one of life's most important lessons. That is, to be resourceful and take initiative. More information to come soon!
