Krissy Pittman Martin is a native of Enfield, North Carolina. She and her husband, Christon Martin, have four wonderful children and an amazing son-in-love: Kierra (Andre), Parish, Kristion, and Angel. Kierra and Parish are co-editors of her book, "Pearls of Gems of Wisdom," which she co-authored with her father, Calvin L. Pittman.
In 2003, Krissy began her career as a middle-grade teacher. Since then, she has served as a dedicated public educator in northeastern North Carolina. She currently serves as a district administrator. In 2016, she achieved certification as a life coach and co-founded Freedom & Abundant Life Coaching and Consulting, LLC (FALCC, LLC), aptly named for Jesus’ John 10:10 assuring promise. She is deeply appreciative of the opportunities that allow her to provide life coaching, motivational speaking, and financial and travel consulting services to her valued clients. Since January 2023, she has written “Coach Martin’s Wednesday Word” to encourage her social media friends and followers with fresh revelations gleaned from her week.
Krissy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, a Master of Science in Educational Leadership and a Master of Education in Special Education. Her commitment to learning is resolute, and she is currently pursuing an Educational Specialist degree from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, with an expected completion date in May 2024.
The author of The Covenant Is Still Good: From Celibacy to Marriage (August 2018), The Covenant Is Still Good: The Back Story (May 2019), and Introspection: A Heart to Heart with Yourself (June 2020) also writes for her church’s monthly newsletter, Deliverance News. She is a lifelong learner who is passionate about reading, writing, traveling, and spending cherished quality time with her beloved family and friends.
