R. PREMKUMAR

Mr. R. Premkumar was born in the Nilgiris (India). Living in proximity to the mesmerizing blue hills, he grew up with a penchant for nature. Adventuring into the "sholas" and strolling the pine forests was his favourite pastime as a child. He had his early education in Breeks Memorial School, Ooty and Kendriya Vidyalaya, Indunagar, Ooty. He is an Alumnus of Madras Christian College, Chennai. He is an educationist, elephant enthusiast and motivational speaker. His work had taken him across the country, including the North East. Assam and Shimoga, perhaps with its resplendent scenic beauty had re-kindled his childhood hobby of engaging with poetry.

He is presently the Principal of JNV Balehanur, Chikamagalur, Karnataka. His debut anthology "Love Beyond" is his maiden initiative. His latest book on short stories titled "Puffs and Pachyderms" has been published.
