Dr. Tara McCarthy

Tara is a veterinarian who has treated all sorts of furry emergencies over the decades. She has treated everything from elephants in Asia, zebras in Africa, cows in New Zealand, horses in western Canada and dogs and cats all along the way.

Tara lives in Prince Edward Island with her husband, two children, horses and cats. Even though being a veterinarian can be a serious job, she still loves to have fun and make people laugh. This has led her to write stories about common things that pop up in everyday vet practice in a fun and light way. She has a whole series of stories ready to go in her head and is excited to bring it to life. Stay tuned as more follow in the future.
