About the writer,

I was raised and live in Southern Oregon. It was a nice place to grow up.

I’m 66 years old. In 1975 I started working in a Moulding mill, and for the rest of my career, I stayed in that industry.

In 1976 I was appointed as the floor foreman and worked as a supervisor or foreman from that point on at various mills.

The biggest change came in 2010 when a top company asked me to be an instructor at their Facility we ran around 1000 students per year through that school. The job included traveling to the customer to install, and or repair the machines and train a crew on the proper and safe operating procedure. The school was attended by people from all over the U. S. Canada and Mexico. I've traveled from Dubai to Trinidad, Chili to Germany, Hawaii to Canada and all over the U. S.

Because of travelling and seeing different cultures I've learned a lot about people. What makes them happy and the difficulties they face, how they were handling issues who was successful or not and why.

Because of back and neck issues I had to step away from work and retire.

Now I manage a car wash and have a small farm, it seems that I'm working harder now than ever, however, I'm still meeting people from all over and learning about their joys and pain.

I was married in 1975 and over the years we've raised 5 children of whom I am very proud.

Life happens whether we're ready or not, we can't go back and change a thing however, we can change things we do today and that will affect tomorrow so let's make today count.
