Colin works to build the skills of managers - mainly in Health & Care in the UK. He has a background in the things he trains people in - Workforce Planning, Cost Control and Customer Service.
He has worked in retail since 1985 with a variety of retailers - directly for Halfords, Marks & Spencer, WHSmith and Martin Retail Group.
In 1994 he started work at PricewaterhouseCoopers, working with retailers like Harrods, Comet, Birthdays and Woolworths. Much of his time was spent developing workforce models for retailers - before being asked to do the same in the UK Health Sector in 2001. Since then he has worked exclusively in the health and care sector, with a focus on developing skills in managers and front-line staff.
Colin has been a Director at PwC and Senior Partner at GE Healthcare Partners. He currently runs Carados, a health & care management development company.
Since 2013, he has been the Director of the Workforce Repository & Planning Tool (WRaPT) team. He is also a Visiting Fellow of the University of Suffolk.
He is married with 2 grown up children and enjoys running, cycling and reading.
