B.J. Lawyer

I was born in Montgomery County, Maryland and raised in a small family with lots of encouragement to do the things that made me happy. I took advantage of this and growing up was interesting and sometimes teetered on crazy.

I was a paranormal investigator with AfterDark and on Parazona, which was a public television show in Prescott. We investigated many homes, businesses, and old churches in Arizona. These thrilling experiences will be something I will never forget, and they helped fuel my flame towards writing horror.

I have two beautiful daughters who are grown now and doing wonderful things and I hope their lives will be as full as mine has been.

My passions in life have been trying to be a good mom – although I have been known to stumble from time to time, kayaking, writing, and motorcycle riding. I’m sure those things will never change.
