Sandra J Little

Sandra J Little is a foster, adoptive, and biological parent with extensive experience, knowledge and formal training in parenting children with diverse backgrounds and needs.

She wrote Little Snap's Big Life after seeing a need for the inclusion of neurodivergent children through a character in whom they could identify with. It was important to her to portray this character in an energetic, fun and positive way in the book, and to show the acceptance, love, and joy that are present despite sometimes challenging circumstances.

Sandra also wanted to offer children and their caregivers a view of behavior that correlates to the needs of the child, and offers reconnection after a hard day.

She created and leads an adoptive moms support group for her community where moms join together for self care, support, and mentoring.

Sandra and her husband Scott have 8 children and 6 grandchildren. She lives with her family on a hobby farm where they dabble in homesteading.

Some of her most favorite things are dance parties in the kitchen, long crazy road trips, good laughs with friends, and making family memories around a campfire.
