Rachel J E Sprague

Rachel J.E. Sprague writes and illustrates out of her home in Seattle, Washington. As a trained natural science illustrator, she gains inspiration from the plants and animals around her. She loves collaborating with scientists and is passionate about bringing the arts and sciences together through her work. In her free time she likes to explore the forests and beaches of the Pacific Northwest with her family. Rachel holds a BA degree from UC Berkeley in English, and a certificate from the University of Washington in Natural Science Illustration. She is an active member of the Western Washington chapter of the SCBWI.
