Charles M Canup PhD

Dr. Charles M. Canup has dedicated his life to serving others, starting with his family and then the United States Army. After his military service, he pursued higher education, earning advanced degrees in Psychology. He worked as a Family Centered Practitioner and Director of Services in mental health before transitioning to education. Dr. Canup taught at a local Christian academy for 16 years, where he continues his educational service.

During these years, Dr. Canup taught science, social studies, mathematics, and various electives from 5th to 12th grade. He became the School Counselor in 2018 and was appointed Head of School in 2020, a role he held until 2024 when he returned to teaching.

Beyond education, Dr. Canup is a licensed Minister, Wedding Officiant, certified Life Coach, and self-published author. He began writing in 2023 with a book for his father, who was fighting cancer. After his father's passing, he continued writing, publishing works in various nonfiction genres.
