Christopher Spencer

Christopher Spencer (not his real name) has worked in the banking and construction sectors and as an Adviser to the British Government. He has had over 50 years of experience in international business and finance and has travelled to many parts of the world. He is still active in business and now works on promoting new "Green" technologies.

Christopher lives in London with his wife and has two grown-up children. He also has several grandchildren. He writes true autobiographical stories about the many extraordinary events in his varied life, that have really happened to him.

Christopher Spencer's main character in his stories is "Edwards", his alter ego, which is himself. Some of his stories are amusing, some about his early life are poignant and some are about true events that happened before he was born. But most are about the harsh "real world" of international business, finance, diplomacy and even espionage. They include stories detailing intrigue, fraud, corruption and conspiracy which are all based upon true events. Edwards has to face complex, difficult and sometimes dangerous situations, both at home and abroad, which fully test his resilience, resourcefulness and integrity.
