David Hamann

David Hamann, born in 1981, studied history and philosophy in Bochum and Berlin. In 2021, he did his doctorate at the Free University of Berlin on the Brody crisis of 1881/82 and the connections between migration and anti-Semitism. His focus is on modern German history, Jewish history, migration history and the history of science. Since 2010 he has been working as a freelance historian and consultant for historical research projects, offering archival research, transcriptions of old German manuscripts and academic editing/lectorate. He heads the company Recherche-Dienste in Berlin
