VENETIA HALSELL

Venetia Halsell is a graduate of Roosevelt University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Mangement and Personnel Administration. Venetia started her career in group health claims immediately upon graduating college and has held supervisory and management positions at several health insurance companies and health care systems. For more than 30 years, Venetia has not only shared her skills and expertise with those she has worked with; she also pursued her passion as a dancer and choreographer. She has studied Ballet, Modern Dance and Afro-Caribbean Jazz. She gained extensive teaching and performance experience as a member of several dance troops, and as the Director and Choreographer of her own company. the V-Connection Jazz Dancers. Venetia made the decision to use her gift of dance and choreography to help spread the gospel. She became a member of the Apostolic Church of God's Liturgical Dance Ministry and served as the assistant director, choreographer and training & development facilitator. She is a graduate of the Eagles International Training Institute and is currently the site leader for TEN Illinois Central. She has mentored other dance ministry leaders in the areas of leadership and choreography, all while maintaining her leadership roles as a coach and mentor in the marketplace.

Venetia is the Founder and CEO of VH Equips! Praise Dance, Choreography and Leadership Training Programs where she is passionate about equipping others in their role as dance ministers and leaders in both the marketplace and ministry.
