Jas Taylor

Jasmine M. Taylor is a Kansas City-based writer whose work explores cultural memory, faith, and Black American life. She holds a BS in journalism and writes through a historical lens centered on resilience and ancestral legacy. Her work has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize by Jerry Jazz Musician and appeared in The Taborian and the Johnnie Mae King Blog. A participant in the 2024-2025 season of the Kansas City Public Theatre’s Playwright’s Roundtable, she currently works on new creative projects.
