As a retired Army combat veteran, I bring a wealth of experience in discipline, leadership, and resilience—attributes honed from years serving on the front lines. My educational background complements my military service, with degrees in both Criminal Justice and Psychology providing a multifaceted understanding of human behavior and societal systems.
Father to six children, I’ve transitioned my battlefield skills to the home front, where coordinating schedules and managing various personalities is as demanding as any military operation. My current role as a coach for both basketball and football teams extends my leadership beyond the home, allowing me to shape young lives through the principles of teamwork, focus, and tenacity.
Yet, at the core of my being lies an ardent passion for writing. It is through the written word that I find an unparalleled outlet for creativity and introspection. Writing serves as a sanctuary, allowing me to explore complex characters, unravel intricate plots, and grapple with profound themes, all while providing a therapeutic space to reflect on my past experiences and future aspirations. Whether I'm coaching on the field or brainstorming at my writing desk, the same principles of discipline and imagination govern my life, ever reminding me that challenges—be they physical, emotional, or intellectual—are best conquered through a combination of grit and artistry.
