Tonia Polak

Tonia Polak is an indie author of children's fiction. She lives in a haunted house in the wilds of British Columbia, with a ghost, two dogs, and two cats. She is an experienced paediatric nurse who has cared for children all over the world, including countries like Macedonia, Ecuador, Australia, Canada, Libya and Iraq.

When she's not writing, she can be found hanging out in her 50-year-old campervan, 'Clover', which was once broken into by a bear. Luckily, the bear thought it was too small and moved back into the forest. Thanks to the bear and her naturally silver hair, Tonia has become a real life 'Silvielocks'.
