Wayne Stoddard

I've always wanted to say that I've had a book published, I never expected it to be a children's picture book, which is a poem, about a terrible cook, but there you go.

Whilst The Calamitous Cook isn't the first picture book I've written, thanks to the amazing illustrations and help on publishing from Dean Village, who is also a children's book self publisher (check out his books!!), this is my first book to go into print.

Over the next 2 years we plan to get my other picture books published and out there for everyone to enjoy. I also have another project which is ongoing, hopefully this will develop into a series of books for early readers.

Grabbing time is always the hurdle to getting any words on paper. Family life, a full time job, setting up and growing and successful sportswear supply business, (Wolf Sportswear) and having three boys does tend to keep you a bit busy.
