Augusto Josè

I am a simple person, very curious and with a thousand interests, travel, writing, music, cooking, motorbikes, photography, Rome, etc. etc. How did my pseudonym Augusto Josè come about? Very simple, when in 2013 I wrote my first book, The Patience of a Merchant, the problem arose: what if, unfortunately, this book ends up in the hands of one of my clients? The answer to this question was very easy, to use a pseudonym. In my past I taught the famous Cuban dance, Salsa, and a friend of mine, Sonny Long, started calling me Maestro Augusto Josè after my Cuban grandmother, think that even today I that's his name, so the choice of which pseudonym to use wasn't difficult... Augusto Josè.

My genre of writing doesn't have a specific place, I go from a story teller to a humorous book to a collection of poems in Roman dialect, to a travel story like the next book I'm writing...
