My latest book - The Third Way: India's Revolutionary Approach to Data Governance - explains how India's powerful digital public infrastructure conceals within it a powerful data governance framework that could hold the key to many challenges of the digital age. It discusses how, by embedding legal principles into the code of the digital infrastructure and building them in accordance with a set of clearly defined design principles could offer a new approach to ensuring data protection and competition.

In Privacy 3.0: Unlocking our Data-Driven Future, I examined the history of privacy regulation around the world and in India. I point out that early man had no concept of privacy and that it evolved through the creation of human habitation and social living. I explain how we have come full circle now that we have arrived at the third stage in the evolution of privacy regulation - where thanks to the new data-driven age we find ourselves in, once again we find ourselves living our lives in a fishbowl.
