Jason Pace was born in the Mediterranean island of Malta and moved to Australia as a seven year old with his parents and younger brother. From a young age he remembers treasuring the escapism that his imagination and creativity gave him. Jason and his brother have always been talented artists and used their art as a language for communicating with others.
Growing up in suburbia imagination, creativity and later music brought the colour to life and allowed for the exploration of the self. Artists, story tellers, and musicians seems to always speak loudest to Jason as their messages seems truer and purer.
Jason would go onto study medicine and is now a psychiatrist. He is married with three adult children and continues to live in Sydney. He still considers himself an artist at heart and seeks to surround himself with creativity when ever possible.
Jason has come to publishing as a hobby and a way to further express his creativity. Jason's books are light hearted, uplifting, creative, imaginative and express his inner child. After dealing with the complexity of the modern world, reconnecting with the joy and innocence of childhood through children's coloring books, adult coloring book or children's stories, seemed like a good place to find solace.
Jason's most recent books are a series of children's early reader, ideal for parents to share with their children as a bedtime story. Jason has been inspired by fables and short stories from his youth and is recreating a life full of imagination, creativity and magic. The books carry theme and values of goodness and well being. Unapologetically devoid of neo-political or philosophical dogma, they aim to resonate a carefree, childhood innocence and purity.
Jason artistic background is evident in the beautiful images and styling of each book. He has spent many hours editing to create a book that reflects the style and feel he has envisaged at inception.
Jason is always striving to create the perfect balance of the visual, the story and the message.
Ultimately Jason is creating books he enjoys and his goal is to get better using this medium and to learn along the way how to best share his ideas with others.
